Integration Process

The phases outlined below apply to all SiteMinder API integrations.

Phase 1 - Initiation

API details will be provided, and necessary information will be gathered to initiate the integration. A test account will be set up for development purposes.

Phase 2 - Development

Test account access and essential resources will be shared to facilitate development and testing. Developers can begin coding and testing the integration in the provided test environment.

Phase 3 - Certification

The integration will undergo certification, guided by provided scenarios and a detailed test plan. Specific test cases will be executed, and checks will be performed to ensure compliance with requirements. Successful completion and approval will certify the integration.

Phase 4 - Production

Production configuration details will be finalised, and the pilot phase will begin by connecting a hotel to the production environment. This phase serves as an operational trial rather than a test.

Phase 5 - Live

Once the production pilot is successful, the new connection will be officially marked as live within SiteMinder and communicated internally.
